I love creating human embodiments of concepts, and for years I have loved the trend of personalizing the sun and moon. I grew up with sun ceramics hung on walls with calm happy faces, sometimes hugged by a crescent moon, and I desperately wanted to create a piece that represented my love of the Sun.
The Sun is a woman with long flowy hair and piecing eyes, she looks to her right slightly over her shoulder, her hair blowing to her left.
She is made up of the colours yellow, orange, red, purple and gold.
