Sometimes mental illness is so present in my mind, that it feels like a thick tar I struggle to breathe through, like something I cannot escape, it slows my movements, weighs me down, and smothers me.
This has been my experience living with Persistent Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
